Over Coming Trauma
The first task at hand is recognizing that you are no longer a victim. So often we all get so caught up in the fact that it happened, until we are reliving it over and over on a weekly basis. Trauma cannot continue to torture you f you do not feed it. It cannot become a past event if you think about it every day. We have to realize that while it was a terrible experience, their is nothing you can do to change what happened, whether it was direct or indirect. You have to realize that it was the past. You have to tell your mind that you will no longer be help prisoner to the event. Don't let the trauma win. Each day work on putting the trauma behind you.
